This was absolutely a perfect read to end 2022. It was lighthearted and fun, while still having it's serious moments. I thoroughly enjoyed Amelia and Noah - their chemistry was wonderful.
The whole plot of run away pop star could have played in many different ways but I think this was the best way. Amelia had the perfect mix of "I'm a celebrity unused to certain things" but also "I grew up pretty normal and I'm not the ditz I could easily come across as". She's so earnest and thoughtful through out the whole story. There were bits that fully surprised me, which was quite refreshing. Plus no third act break up! All the bonus points for that.
I loved the side characters in the town and I'm excited to see more of the Walker sisters in future books.
The only detractors were that the timeline was a little quick for me, and a lot of the big questions that need answers happened riiight at the very end. But otherwise, I really enjoyed reading this book, and I can't wait for more in Rome, Kentucky!
