wheew. i really tried to give this one a chance. read nearly 60% of the book after wanting to quit many times and finally called it.
there was just nothing capturing me. the one storyline i enjoyed and wanted to see through was so inundated with details and other plotlines that i was just supremely bored.
if i didnt have other books that i wanted to get to, i might have finished this one, but that's just not the case.
