Even better than book 1. The romance was more pronounced in this book. The world was so dynamic and beautiful. The characters were great as usual. I love Poe. I have nothing but good things to say about this series!

Delightful read. Enjoyed this one more than the first instalment of the Emily Wilde series. It had wonderful descriptions of nature and landscapes that allured to the old Romanticism - which I adored, because it does feel like a journal written in the time where people ventured out in nature in search for the sublime; although that might be Faerie in this case haha.

This was fun.  I don't know that I liked it as well as the first, but she didn't stress me out with her decisions quite as much in this one.
