This story started strong and had good bones, but it I found that the author skipped over all of the stuff that had the potential to have an emotional pull that would connect with readers; years of misunderstanding and hurt were just brushed away in an instant and tied up with a nice big bow. The story was sweet, but not nearly what it could have been.
