I think the message regarding marginalization in the workplace is crucial, I just wasn’t a fan of the way it was actually constructed. The writing wasn’t bad at all, it was just very millennial for me in terms of the language used hence 2 *

The story was a good quick read.
I do not recommend the audio version, where the narrator, Arden Cho, does a “blaccent” for some of the characters, which is an…interesting choice.
