Intriuging and complex. Somehwere between the Matrix, Inception and the Truman shiw almost. Beautiful points towards the end.

This book should have been broken up into a several book series. As one book, the story was just too long, and that took away from the enjoyment of the storyline.

I went in with quite high expectations because of how much I enjoyed The Passage, and this didn't let me down. It's a little slow to start, but that's partly because it's got a lot of stuff to build. At a certain point it seemed to go completely insane, and then pulled it all together in spectacular style. I also just really like how Cronin writes. If sci-fi isn't your thing, then just know this book is also full of mystery and at points just an action fueled romp, but with some real depth.
