In addition to a full catalog of their photography, art, and resistance work surviving on the Isle of Jersey, this book's essays detail the nature of their collaborative relationship, their place in surrealism, and the incredibly courageous pacifist resistance work they did during the Nazi occupation. This pair deserves much more recognition for all their work. Amazing people, amazing photographs... some of the essays went a little too artspeak for me, but I guess there's no avoiding that.
