Why are there no other one-star reviews on this book, when it is a complete DISASTER? Granted, I gave up on the TV show, so I'm not the ideal audience for this book, but because I'm still attached to a few of the characters and enjoyed the previous books in this series, I waited for this final installment to release and then got it through inter-library loan. Alas, it was a complete waste of thought, memory, and tax dollars.

This book captures the characters fairly well, but the plot is a steaming mess of occult nonsense and demon-summoning. This incredibly weak, chaotic storyline has no relationship to the show's tone or content from the season in which it is set, and this dissonance between the book's plot and the average Supergirl episode was so extreme that I skimmed through many of the random and nonsensical chapters. Because I got this book from inter-library loan, I pressed on to the end, wanting to squeeze out of it whatever redeeming value I could find, but even though the running joke about Winn writing Doctor Who fanfiction enriched my life, this was otherwise a massive waste of time.
