An African Night's Entertainment is the story of a search for vengeance. The girl who Abu is to marry marries another man, and Abu searches far and wide for someone who knows how to wreak vengeance.

****
I got this book because it is one of the classics that I should have read as a child, but somehow never did.

Now that I've read it, I'm not so sure it's suitable for children. I mean, people did bad things in this book.

The moral of the story remains relevant, however. Vengeance will do you no good (Or will it?
