Alex Kava has long been a favorite

It has taken this long to get my library to catch up with all of the Creed books for us. I love Ryder Creed and Maggie O'Dell and always look forward to reading the next installment. Hidden Creed #6

I really like this series (both Maggie and Creed's respectively), but really how many times can they wind up in the middle of a disaster almost dead and still come out basically unscathed? I felt no concern for them this time around.

Plot wise, not much happened. The mystery was extremely underdeveloped and they spent approximately 1 chapter actively investigating it. The rest was all disaster were trapped. And I like Alex kavas writing style, but this one suffered from too many different people/topics to adequately flesh out any of them

It's amazing how good scent detection dogs are! Working in tornado conditions this time - it seemed so real. Living in a country that doesn't really have tornados it was interesting to read about how people can survive through the toughest conditions. The relationship between Ryder and Maggie just gets better with each new book.
