Very succinct and to the point, this book is accessible to the younger crowds as well as the elementary age kids. The text is informative and accurate without glorifying or vilifying anyone. The author takes the reader from Massachusetts in 1620, through present day, briefly outlining the history of Thanksgiving celebrations throughout the country. I'm going to use excerpts from this to give a simple overview of Thanksgiving for my preschool story time.
