Another great read for Pride month.
Aimed at (IMHO) an older teen, say 16+ this is a fun read of 4 gay characters figuring their crap out, hurting people around them as they are only interested in themselves but eventually getting a happy ending. (typical YA romance really just with gay characters).
I say 16+ because there is more than heavy petting and snogging in the book ... nothing described in detail but the characters do go all the way.
It's a book about chasing new loves and teenage angst. Well worth a go, available FREE in Irish Libraries.

A cute and fantastical YA novel. A bit predictable, but I ended up liking what happened more than I thought I wouos when I figured out how this book would end.

This was a very cute YA, modern day fairy tale about the "Prince" of Chicago looking for his first boyfriend and finding confidence in himself. It kept my attention, but it's not something that I'll want to reread over and over again. I liked the setting and the way that various parts of Chicago played a part in the story. It really made me want to visit Chicago again!
The audiobook narration was nice, but the characters felt a little flat to me, and that meant that it was harder for the plot to keep my attention.

This was a fun, messy, YA rom-com. Micah is a very sweet guy who definitely makes mistakes but the growth he starts to make by the end is well done. You can see where the love story is going from pretty early on, even if Micah himself can’t. I thought both Grant and Elliot were well written with a lot of nuances that showed both are good people. And I think the author very easily could’ve made Grant a villain when really I think he’s a teenage boy who has a lot of self confidence issues that need dealt with. Overall a cute book!

Very cute and real
Even though this is a retelling of Cinderella, as the Prince finds his dream boy and the story keeps going, it shows what happens afterwards and that sometimes it won't match your expectations, it is so cute and specially Elliot is the sweetest!
