I have been meaning to get this book for some time, and I am delighted that I had the chance to get it and read it. This was an hilarious, but also serious comic collection about Huda Fahmy who tries to navigate life as an American-Muslim. She gets a ton of questions (or comments) about her Hijab, yes she is hot in this (but maybe not in the way you may think), no she isn't being oppressed she is wearing this because she wants to. We read about her life, her love Gehad (yes, pronounced as Jihad with a G, so you can imagine they are now using nicknames when they need to call each other), about family, about food, about wearing a hijab.
I was shaking my head that people truly came to Huda to ask her if she was hot, or ask other questions...
I had tons of fun reading this one, and I just adore Huda. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed the humor and thought it made a number of good (yet sigh-worthy at times) points, I was expecting a story instead of just a collection of short comics, which wasn't what I was interested in at this point.
