My first graphic audiobook & I have no regrets. The narrators were a hoot & made this that much more lively. My biggest issue with it is the ending.

CN Crawford has done it again. They never fail to write stories that suck you in. I loved the characters and how the developed from beginning to end. I love how the world building continued to expand from beginning to the end. I loved the “not” love story (I wouldn’t call it enemies to lovers exactly). And the end killed me, I need more 2 right now! (It’s my understanding that this will be a duology!)

I wasn’t sure I was going to like this one and I’m still not sure that I really like it. The story itself has captured my intention and I will probably read the next one to see what happens with the characters but I didn’t really love the characters overall. I’m not sure if I enjoy the graphic version of this. All the effects and stuff are really nice but the way that some of the narrators speak with their acting voices is a little cheesy. I’m not sure I would recommend this one, but since I’ve started it, I might as well finish the series and see where the story goes.
