Although it was a short story, there just wasn't a story there for me to like. It felt like an outline. If maybe an issue or two were taken out (like the whole dad story and/or the shooting), there might be more room for a story about the two main characters in there. It felt like instant love, even though the story says it's not - that she's loved him for years. I'm not sure if it was the conversations or...they just don't seem like they've known each other. There just isn't any back story. And suddenly they are in the sack!
and I have an older brother. There is no way he would have said anything about sexual parts (especially my own) to me. So I found many of the converstions weird and confusing. I found the way he talked to her demeaning and weirdly...possesive? He's her brother, why is he using foul language like that to her?

Ehhhh...didn't hate it didn't like it LOL Glad it was a short story or I'd probably just have put it down.
