What an outstanding sequel! I loved the first book, it kept me on the edge of my seat
for the whole time, and book two does not disappoint. In this book, Mila's powers are still
growing but she's now on the run because her MOTHER broke her out of prison. There's a rebel group opposing the King, and they are Mila's only hope.
My mind is blown by this book.
The writing is outstanding, and the pacing is breakneck at times but completely welcome. I love Mila and her story. She's struggling to really understand her powers, and if the man she's fallen in love with is actually true. She's lost and struggled so much, so I'm rooting for her t come out on top, but this book was outstanding and I cannot wait for the next one! Seriously, the writing and the story continues to blow my mind, and I just know the author will continue to amaze in the next books.
If you haven't read this series yet, drop what you're doing and go start it. You will not regret this.
