Super sweet and swoon-worthy!!! I love when characters have known each other when they were young and then meet again as adults

Have you ever thought about the timing of things in your life?
About why some people enter your life when they do and also why they leave when they do?
Have you ever sat down during the hard points in your life and told yourself
"You will be ok. Everything happens for a reason."?
Have you had the high points in your life that had you thinking the same thing?

If you believe in the following:
"It will happen when the time is right."
"Everything happens for a reason."
"What is meant for me will always be for me."
Then this is the book for you.

Danielle SHOWED OUT with this book. It had all the emotions. It had funny moments, sad moments, sexy moments, and overall moments that had love and care written all over it. I think the best way to go into this book is going in blind. If you made it this far stop reading and go read the book then come back.

Alright, you're back? Let's continue.

This book follows Kwame and Aisha who have known each other since college. Aisha was Kwame's tutor and had the biggest crush on him however he was in a relationship during this time and she respected that and kept things to herself. We start off the story with her girls hyping her up to tell Kwame how she feels since he and his girlfriend broke up. The friend that pushed her the most was Angel. Remember that for when you read. Things unfortunately don't go as planned, how you might ask? Can't tell you, you will have to read the book if you haven't already. But let's just say 16 years pass and their paths cross again, AND BOY DO THEY PASS.

Once they meet again, the connection is there and everything starts lining up for them. The only thing in their way is the fact that they are in two different cities. How do their paths cross again and what is the underlining driving force behind it? Is it timing? Is it because it was all meant to be? Seriously, read the book right now and find out.

And ya'll this book is NAAAAAAAAAASTYYYYYY. By nasty, I mean freaky af. YES. YES.YES. Kwame really shows out, but so does Aisha. I might have a girl crush on her. Aisha is a bigger girl. As a reader we know she is bigger, she knows she is, and Kwame does too. BUT THE STORY IS NOT CENTERED AROUND HER BEING SHY ABOUT HER BODY. She embraces it. And she knows she looks good and she works it. Shooooooot, she was so beautiful in her summer dress and Kwame thought so too and it made me wanna go put on my summer dress and flaunt it around. THE CONFIDENCE THIS BOOK GAVE ME!

I would give this book 5,000 stars if I could. It is truly an experience and I hope you decide to read it because it really is beautiful.

This was a cute second chance romance and I enjoyed the potential paranormal element.

Cute and spicy quick read. Second chance romance, friends to lovers.
The dialogue was a little corny but it was cute!
