This was my absolute favorite book when I was little. It is funnier than funny to me. I made my mom read it so much that she finally made the rule that we would only read it three times a day. To this day, she can still recite the book.

Every Monday, Mrs. McNosh hangs up her wash (and gets a little carried away). She hangs up everything from the telephone to Grandpa's dentures. It's one of those silly, rhyming books that will have little ones giggling.

This is a silly story about a woman who becomes far too overzealous with her laundry duties. Readers will love how the book starts off with a normal storyline and gets steadily more ridiculous. Very fun!

For: readers looking for a silly book.

Possible red flags: some readers may be turned off by the nonsense.

A funny, rhyming story about a woman who hangs literally everything, including herself, on the clothesline. I have to say I don't know why, but this is a frequent request at bedtime from my kids!
