A multigenerational family saga set in the country of Georgia. For me, this book was written too much like a soap opera, with too much emphasis on the characters’ love and sex lives.

A really moving book. I found myself engrossed in the histories and truly feeling a spectrum of emotions. There were a few times I had to put the book down and reflect on its events. It made me laugh, rage, and cry my eyes out. A must read for anyone.
