I didn't really like the ending (so sad it's over!) but I love this series!

Anthony and Antonelle Chu are fraternal twins. Tony and Toni. Each with their an extraordinary, albeit diametrically opposed, ability. Tony is Cibopathic, able to get psychic sensations of the past of anything he bites into or ingests. Toni is Cibovoyant, able to flash onto a vision of the future of any living thing she bit into or ingested. Tony is alive. Toni is dead. Toni has been murdered. Tony has vowed to catch her killer. Toni is going to help.

That is the Gooreads preview for the book and it is as good as an explanation of what's going on without actually reading the books.

Now since this is the fourth collection, gathering issues #31-40, of the series, if you're new to the comic, I suggest you go back to the beginning ([b: Chew: The Omnivore Edition, Vol. 1|8301077|Chew The Omnivore Edition, Vol. 1|John Layman|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1388292990s/8301077.jpg|13149796]). There's absolutely no sense in starting from here. I mean, even I had trouble of remembering all of the twists and turns that had happened so far, because it had been a while since I read the previous volume.

And for the review, I'll just say that compared to the previous volumes, this one just has more of everything
Spoiler(except for Poyo, whose "absence" is noted quite hilariously at one point in the story)
, both in good and bad. At times there just seems to be too much to ingest (pun intended). But nevertheless, I'm still invested in the story and want to see where they end up with it. I hope it doesn't go on forever, because I'd rather see a thought-out strong ending, but we'll see.

Still loving all the Easter eggs in the background. Perry the Platypus makes an appearance, as does South Park's Butters.

Ima read ALL of these!
