🩵 Forced proximity
🩵 Billionaire x journalist
🩵 One night stand
🩵 Second chance
🩵 Friends with benefits
Sophia is an independent woman, working as a journalist and never seeing the same man more than once. Lorenzo is a playboy billionaire, leading the family business while secretly craving a different life. Little does anyone know he's been pining for the woman he had a one night stand with a year ago.
When Sophia and Lorenzo cross paths again the chemistry is immediate and undeniable, but Sophia is not looking to repeat the experience. Lorenzo convinces her editor boss that he will be the subject of a long sought after article, but only if Sophia writes it. What better way to get to know her subject than shadowing him for the summer? Forced proximity, smoking hot billionaire, sassy strong woman, what's more to want? A friends with benefits arrangement perhaps? But as the end of their time together approaches neither is ready to say goodbye.
They both have their issues, feelings of unworthiness, a desire for a more rewarding career, family burdens, but the way they show up for each other is so beautiful. Even in denial of their feelings they support each other and show vulnerability.
This is my first read from Yinn Quirós and I'll definitely be going back to read Book 1 and I'm looking forward to more in the series. Thank you to the author for the ARC, my opinions are my own.

Spicy and fun read! I love Yinn’s billionaire men, this series is great if you’re looking for a spicy billionaire romance with strong female characters.
Sophia and Lorenzo had a one night stand neither of them can seem to forget and are reconnected a year later through mutual friends. They’re both stubborn, reformed players that try out a friends with benefits when neither of them believe that they deserve love. Their growth and care for each other was so strong. Oh and I love an MMC who speaks Italian 😍
For fans of billionaire, reformed players, he falls first, and friends with benefits! Check out book one Broken Pieces too!

I started bawling my eyes out at the dedication page. Enzo is a restaurateur, and Sophia is a junior journalist. What do they have in common at the beginning? They’re both players. The sparks flew the day they rocked each other’s nights during an event. Enzo fell for her, and honestly, so did she. But you know, as players, the biggest rule is that it’s just a one-time thing.
I could relate a lot to Sophia… feeling worthless of love thanks to the trauma. The things she did were just a coping mechanism. Oh, Enzo was completely whipped. I could literally see him gravitating toward her like a lost puppy. Enzo 💯 makes her feel safe.
The spice was definitely spicing 🥵 I did cry a couple of times throughout the story because it was so relatable. I’m still going through everything she did. I wanted to hug lil Sophia so bad.
Ace, you just got VIP access to my book bf list. I ended up crying again (happy tears, I promise) while reading the epilogue. It was a well-deserved, beautiful ending for those two. I can’t wait for Sunshine and Matteo’s story.
I needed days to process and write this review. This is my honest opinion for the gifted copy I received. Thanks, Yinn, for the ARC opportunity!

I will continue to eat this series up like it is my job. The writing is amazing. The character, the tension, the back and forth, all making this book another great read. I loved the tension between the two MCs. Two people who don’t do love and don’t think they deserve it, thinking the other person is too good for them, but really they are perfect together. I loved the emotion that this story had i the background for the characters, it made everything make so much sense, Yinn Quiros has a way with telling a great story and making you fall in love with the characters and their story.
Why do I have the feeling I just made a deal with the devil? And worse, why am I looking forward to it?
Yinn does it again: another book boyfriend to add to the list! Sophia and Lorenzo have a one night stand a year before finding out they’re going to be in each other’s lives in more ways than one—first, his cousin is marrying her best friend and second, she’s assigned to write an article on the billionaire playboy. What could go wrong?
I love these characters! We first meet them in Broken Pieces but it just goes to show that you really don’t know what someone is going through privately. Sophia is the stubborn party girl, but deep down doesn’t think she’s worthy of love. Lorenzo is the handsome businessman, who had to carry on his father’s legacy and doesn’t think he’s worthy of love either. This book felt so much deeper and relatable; you’ll be rooting for them from the start. Their chemistry was sizzling. The tension was magnetic, filled with charming fun banter and so much cuteness like their nicknames and 90s sitcom references. Lorenzo is so swoonworthy. That man is a GIVER. 🥵👏
And the Damian and Aria cameos?? Obsessed. He’s still down bad and I love how he is protective of Aria’s friends. My maaaaan. Yinn also left crumbs of potential future books and I cannot wait for them!!!! I’m already feral for zaddy Diego.
If you love a spicy billionaire romance about reformed players who sworn-off relationships and enter a FWB deal, this one is for you!
Thank you so much Yinn for gracing this grandma with the eARC and letting me read more of your books. I’m so proud of you, bb.

Blue and Ace😍😍
Ahhh these two are absolute 🔥 from their very first closet-meet-cute😉 Their banter is top tier and I gobbled up every second of it.
I loved Sophia and her strength and resilience - she is goals🙌. I could not get enough of how obsessed Lorenzo is with her. A man who drops everything and jumps on his private jet for his leading lady? YES PLEASE.
This is book 2 in the Windy City Billionaires Series - you should definitely check out Aria and Damian’s HEA in Broken Pieces!

Book One was Aria and Damien. Now it’s the friend’s turn. Sophia & Enzo. These two were hot from the start with the tension and the chemistry. This was a little second chance, a little forced proximity mixed with “broken hearted/player”.
This book took me on a ride I wasn’t prepared for. I don’t think a character hit me in the chest like Sophia did. I don’t think I got the background of a character and went “Same, girl”. Cause when we got her history on why she is, the way she is….I had to step away for a second cause we had the same childhood/history. Down to the holding the little sister while the parents fought. (DV Trigger warnings, please check before reading).
I loved how resilient she was, how strong she was, how she tried to act like she was this “hard” shell when really all baby girl needed was someone to hold her.
In enters Enzo….cause that made us down BAD from the jump. I giggled at their chemistry. It felt organic, and flowed nicely and the smut entered at the right time. I enjoyed this book a little more than book one. I really hope book three is Isabella and Matteo cause 👀. I need to know what’s going on there!

Sophia and Lorenzo are two love-wary souls who are determined to avoid romantic relationships at all cost. They feel an unexpected connection, an awareness, on the night they first meet, but they dismiss it and go their separate ways after a very passionate encounter. When they meet again a year later, both are struck by memories of that night, a night that they have recalled often. With some sneaky manoeuvring on his part, Sophia’s new assignment is to interview Lorenzo for an article she will be writing. She can’t fathom why he is playing games with her, but she will be doing her due diligence before writing her article. It means spending time with the far too handsome, arrogant and egotistical jerk, and she fully expects her article to be an unflattering exposé, given his reputation. She never expected to like him or to fall in love with him. For a player like Lorenzo, the game he is playing with Sophia is out of character and may lead to his downfall. He is about to get another lesson about love.
To the world they are strong, confident and even a tad ruthless, but behind their facades Sophia and Lorenzo are hiding the inner turmoil and pain they struggle to control. As they spend time together, they see glimpses of what lies beneath the facade, and that connection they felt when they first met grows and gives way to feelings that both thrill and terrify them. Letting down the guards they deliberately placed around their hearts is scary, but they decide to take the chance on each other. Their path toward building a future together is a tad bumpy and includes a few setbacks and twists, but Sophia and Lorenzo finally get the happily ever after neither thought was possible for them.
Their chemistry is red hot, their banter and snark is very entertaining, and their intimate encounters are scintillating and hot-flash inducing. Antagonism gives way to need and then finally they name the emotion they are feeling as love, at least to themselves. Admitting how they feel to each other is a whole other situation both are afraid to face given their past experiences. Their group of friends provide plenty of advice and support, as well as some very hilarious moments. They are a group of misfits, really, that found a connection and now feel like a family.
I wholeheartedly recommend this entrancing book.

"Reformed players, who want nothing more than to be loved but believe they don't deserve it."
Trust me when I say, I was not able to put this down. Yinn broke something in me, because I normally don't do billionaire romances, and if I do I'm super picky about them. This book hit just the right note, delivering EVERYTHING I wanted!
While I didn't get to read the first book of the series, Broken Deal starts with so much chemistry and tension that immediately hooks you in! Sophia and Lorenzo are both best friends to the couple in book one, who is planning their wedding and both expect them to be part of it. What they don't know is that Sophia and Lorenzo met each other once in the past (wink wink!) I'm not spoiling anything but that first chapter set the tone and expectations and I knew I was in for a wild ride.
It was so refreshing to see a jaded but strong-minded FMC, who played her own game and didn't let stereotypes dictate what to do in life. I also ABSOLUTELY loved seeing Lorenzo's point of view in every other chapter. The SPICE in this book was UNREAL! Like, screams, kicks feet-up, swoons, face down the pillow unreal.
What to expect:
🩵boy obsessed
🩵forced proximity
🩵 he falls first AND HARD
🩵 billionaire x journalist
🩵jaded characters
🩵 second chance
🩵 reformed players
🩵 games & deals
Thank you SO much to Yinn Quiros for allowing me to read her masterpiece. I'm more than PROUD to support another Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 following her dreams! I know this is going to be so popular and I'm going to be shouting out the roof for you!
Broken Deal comes out TOMORROW! 3/19
