What was that ending..?
Why did this conflict get resolved in 2 seconds? It doesn’t feel earned to me.

YES Gabriel!!! This was SO GOOD!!!! Sophie really brought out the sweet Gabriel I was hoping he would be. He's all badass and brick walls around everyone. I just knew there was more to him. Love this series.

This book was perfection, from Sophie and Gabriel's first meeting to becoming friends and then finally falling in love. Also, I loved seeing Gabriel not only open himself up to Sophie but to his friends as well. So far, this has been a fantastic series, and I can't wait to read about the rest of the band.

Scottie!!!!!!
Omg! After reading the first one I couldn't see how in the world Scottie could have a story. Man was I wrong! I did not know how much I needed this book. Read it!!! You will not be disappointed by this great group of friends.

2.5. This book was so cringe at times I had to put it down and take a lap. Truly outlandish banter. Nobody talks like this. Gabriel calling her “chatty girl” over and over set my teeth on edge. Not sure what she’s seeing in him besides being hot and was the disappearing and secret fighting not a giant red flag? Like man needs professional help. The 3rd act conflict really torpedoed my rating. The whole scenerio was ridiculous. Gabriel was never shown as stupid but he’s a total idiot and also nearly violent(?) and Sophie just ghosts to Australia without telling him Gabriel he’s idiot or speaking her mind about “getting fired”? It is so out of character for her and his “grand gesture” proposal before actually resolving their fight is not a trope I accept.
An easy afternoon read, but fell short in the last 25% for me. Many side characters had the potential to be interesting but never developed (assuming it is saved for the other books).

Managed is the story of a buttoned-up, controlled, self-possessed man who comes completely unraveled by the love of a good woman. This opposites attract tale, set in the world of rock-and-roll, will leave you begging for more! I just turned off the Kindle and I'm already craving more from the guys who make up Kill John, the hottest rock band around.
But, in a sweet twist, this book isn't about one of the on-stage Heroes, no, this is the story of their manager. Gabriel Scott has his hands full managing the world's most popular band. He lords over his domain and everyone in it with an iron-will. When he meets Sophie Darling on a plane, his whole world starts to shift. Suddenly, nothing seems to matter but her. There are shadows in Sophie's past, but the light is shined on those fairly early. Managed is full of the most delicious angst. The love story for Gabriel and Sophie is a slow burn that explodes with intensity and passion.
I really, really, love these characters. Kristen Callihan has created the fantastic world that rotates around Kill John. Each of the characters has a distinctive point-of-view and role to play in the stories. Their bonds with one another add depth and color to book. But, the coming books will have to work hard to live up to the love story of Scottie and Sophie. If you're looking for a great read, check out this well-developed, opposites attract, rock-and-role love story. You won't be sorry for one-clicking this chart topper!
