“The Cursed Daughter” is Dimia’s book, and we find out more about her, her backstory, and the reasoning behind her motives. Empress Dimia is cursed, a fact that she has tried to keep from her enemies for a very long time. The dark magick that she was born from is very slowly killing her, and she needs to complete her goal before she dies - uniting the kingdoms, as her mother always wanted. But as Dimia finds new sources of information, she slowly pieces together that what she has known all her life might not be the truth. Now Dimia, who has always been alone, must find allies that will help her - a hard task, considering all of the kingdoms either hate her, fear her, or both.

This last book was completely and totally epic! An absolutely spellbinding conclusion to a wonderful series. If you hated Dimia before reading this novel, I promise you, your feelings are going to change!!! Dimia has her faults, but she is overall a strong and confident heroine who really believed that she was doing what was best for everyone. This book was absolutely fantastic, and I completely recommend it, the series, and Aimee Shaye as an author.

I received a copy of this book from the author, and am voluntarily leaving a review.

What a GREAT final book! I loved learning more about Dimia and her magick is slowly killing her? Wow.. honestly I love that she just wants to do what her mother set out to. I was not her biggest fan but this book changed that! Also, the fact that she has to have allies even though people are afraid of her or hate her lol
