Was a good read, but not as good as Jurassic Park. The new cast of characters are a little too shallow. The suspense/mystery elements were done much better Jurassic Park. Ian Malcolm was the saving grace of the story.

Great read. Speedy, action packed, hard to put down. Crichton does have a way of getting a little preachy in his novels sometimes, but not enough to really prevent me from enjoying it. Just the occasional multi-page rant about how one thing or another is the worst thing in the world.

Overall still a great read.
