Great conclusion to the series. Honestly wasn't expecting that to be the mystery person creating all the mayhem....

This was not it..... Sad that it ended this way. What happened? Why?? I have so many questions.. Also the twist was predictable in book 2. So the town just keeps living and not caring about what happened? What about the supernatural aspect of the book? Just gone? This reminds me of those movies where you find out there wasn't a ghost but some one living in the walls.

and I agree with another reviewer - the relationship between Oliver and Rebecca is creepy and not sweet at all.

I have to admit I was surprised at the ending a little and the revelation - it was a fitting finale to the serialized story. By the time the 6th book was being read, I was done with the series and eager for it to be done. Not a bad series but a little choppy. The stories were interesting in some ways, too cheap in others.

The ending was a bit disappointing, but at the end of the day I enjoyed reading the book in serial form. I really enjoyed John Saul books as a kid, but as an adult I have somewhat outgrown his style of writing. I know you can buy all 6 books in one, but if you can, get them separately, I think it adds a bit to the series to have them in individual books.

Enjoyed this small horror series. Had just the right crazy, suspense, and horror.
