I agree with what is apparently the consensus here.
In particular:

* it's a good read
* the set of stories does fit together well
* you'll enjoy this more if you've read previous OMW books
* if you like Scalzi's style, you'll like this if not, not
* he does have too many similarly-snarky characters
and
THERE IS NO ENDING!
You'll have to get the next series to find out what's going on, and I wouldn't be surprised if even THAT one doesn't do a full reveal. Scalzi's on a roll here, and why end it?

Cruising through the series. This one is an anomaly so be aware: It is more of a series of short stories rather than a cohesive novel. That said i really enjoyed all of Scalzi's talents in dialog and I can see where the seeds of one of my top5 fictional characters, Kiva, of the Interdependency Series, comes from.

🎧 -  I liked the various stories and how they tied together. Felt more like a side book than the main line of the series.
