This is my first book by this author which I enjoyed for the most part. This is a histroical story about finding out that your finance has a second family and her trust in men goes down hill. Then she meets Alex, will fate give her a second chance at romance? I enjoyed the characters and the made the story easy to read. The story starts out a slow than picks up and than slows again but I did enjoy the story despite that. Christine is a character that brings emotion to the story and you have to feel for her. There are some twists and turns that make you question if they will get their happliy ever after but you will have to read this book to find out what happens next.
