Again, did not finish. I've tried numerous times to get into dungeon core, but they're all just so painfully boring. Life's too short to force yourself to finish a book you don't enjoy.

DNF @ 21%. Had a promising start and a few interesting mechanics (haven’t seen anyone using “mana stones” for dungeon aesthetic before). What turned me off was when the MC made a body for his spirit creation (a pseudo-daughter figure?) and described her body with the phrases “toned legs that connected to attractive, yet not too prominent hips, which were attached to a toned belly” and “breasts that seemed perky but not obscenely large”. “A girl, perhaps seventeen years of age,” in “a skirt of chainmail, and a breastplate that left her midsection exposed.” Sorry, that’s a little bit much for me.

Clear prose, no encountered spelling errors, and helpfully included a character sheet at the end of each chapter.
