I’m having mixed feelings about this book. The characters were all so twisted in their own way. There was so much going on towards the end and the ending also felt so rushed.

This book was entertaining, probably more of a 3.5 rounded up but I liked the protagonist, the plot was interesting even if kinda far fetched and I loved the ending. If you like chick lit or baby thrillers (low impact/small thrills) I recommend you check this out!

It's a good island mystery that keeps you guessing about the secrets throughout. The book toggles between past tense and current tense, so secrets are unfolded to the reader faster than revealed to the characters. It was interesting and only took me a day to read, but there are better mystery books out there. The eeriness of the island's history is exciting, and I found something to like about all of the characters. Overall, an easier mystery to digest while still eliciting the emotions that a mystery or thriller should.
