Back on my Pippa Grant re-read train, and this one was still great.

This series is cracking me up with great characters, and Will and Dax kill this one.

Their story might be my favorite so far since it's just full of funny experiences, lol moments and characters that just seem over the top funny. Since Dax was going to kidnap her on the night before her wedding, he got pretty lucky that she actually didn't even want to marry her long time boyfriend Martin. So let the hilarious escapades continue.

Traveling through Europe with no money, and no passports doesn't sound easy, (or really even possible, hey, it's FICTION and I don't care) They meet a crazy couple and decide to jump on a boat with them, some stilt fighters, some nuns, and just all kinds of funny.

Spice - 2.75
LOL - 4.5

Going to finish this one up and see what other books of hers I can grab to read soon!

Pippa Grant is fast becoming my go to author for romantic comedies. Every book of hers I have listened to is low angst, laugh out loud funny, enough steam to keep me happy and the characters are wonderful! This one is extremely entertaining. Dax, popular rockstar kidnaps Willow, a runaway bride from her future husband. Caught up in lust and adventure, these two embark on a new kind of relationship, finding that not only are things not always what they seem, but you may find life and love while checking off a bucket list! Loved every minute, with it's funny scenes, crazy antics and had that warm feeling throughout the entire story.

Narrated by the talents of Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood, we had a team that lets it all out there. From amazing comedic timing, to passion filled, steamy scenes, this dynamic duo brought Dax and Willow to life. A better fit for personalities could not have been found. I loved their performance.

Rockaway Bride to me was the story of finding yourself - your true self - and what makes you the happiest. This is a fantastically written rom-com.

I have truly LOVED every single book Pippa Grant has written but this definitely took the top spot. Willow is a badass. She's sweet, kind, hilarious, strong, and absolutely loveable. Dax is a grouch, mad at his circumstances, and still super loveable. While the story *like all of Pippa's* is a little over the top -it's the very BEST!!

Rockaway Bride sucked me in from the very beginning. From a botched kidnapping (with handcuffs involved), a van full of nuns, and group skydiving - this book was engaging and extremely amusing. It was everything I was hoping for and more.

I would 100% recommend this book to readers. Pippa does funny best and yet she somehow throws in all the feelings you could ever want or need. I adored this couple - and all their friends too. I want more of all of them - especially Colden *hint hint Pippa ;)* Take the time to read this one... but don't get mad when you get sucked into the Pippa Grant rabbit hole. You'll love every minute!

Prepare to go on...ok, read a fun, and hilarious adventure!. Pippa has written yet another amazing story. The eve of Willow’s wedding to her fiancée, who she’s been in a relationship with for 7 years, has her questioning whether she wants to marry him after all. Her 3 stepbrothers give her some mead and encourage her not to marry the dope. She wakes up handcuffed to rockstar Dax, and the hilarity begins. These two are so perfect for each other! Both are somewhat emotionally broken, but together they are stronger.

I love all of Pippa Grant’s books and especially love getting to catch up with previous characters - Asia/Chase, Parker/Knox and the Berger twins. In this book other secondary secondary characters step up and bring some extra fun to the story which was really interesting. I’m looking forward to learning even more about Willow’s friend Eloise and new characters from Dax’s band! Love, love, love the world Pippa Grant has created and was thrilled to read an ARC.

So much fun

Willow and Dad were hilarious together. I loved how quickly Willow turned the tables on Dad from him kidnapping her to her ruling what they did. She has such a huge heart that she found a way to help him solve his problems at the same time. All the while they were falling for each other.
Once again this author manages to find quirky characters and bring them together and make you laugh throughout the story.
