A sweet story with well established tone and beautiful writing that was simple yet elegant. Unfortunately I wasn't invested in any of the characters, but the mystery kept me interested. I didn't think the conclusion was very satisfying, but the last few pages almost redeemed it for me.

This was my favorite of The Niebla series. It has a great mix of mystery, fantasy and a little bit of horror thrown in.

It was all fun and games and then this book turned so dark and even a little bit creepy. I liked it!
