Oh boy, Kelly Thompson's dropping plot bombs. A+ land shark cameo.

Almost felt like a repeat of the past volumes except for that ending

One of my favorite things about this series overall has been the cast of characters behind Carol, how strong their personalities and relationships are, how they support her and clash with her and share fun witty banter. This volume manages to pull Captain Marvel out of her time into a near-ish future where almost all of her closest friends are gone, but still surrounds her with an interesting ensemble. They have a different dynamic, but they still work, and I quickly came to care about them just as much. (especially Brigid, who made me cry a little when she claimed her worthiness)

The plot was well done, Ove and Enchantress were excellent villians, and I love how everything ended up tied back to Carol's timeline. Looking forward to the next arc!
