Hmm. This was interesting, but pretty dry. I don’t love the idea of tearing apart Dickinson’s letters to pull poems out of their context. I doubt she would’ve wanted much of this published. Interesting take on her poetry, but it sounds like the author was just trying to discover “lost” poems, so he contrived this collection.
