Such a great series that truly does not disappoint. I love the way this plot unfolds, the characters are great, and the pacing is really well done. I remain firm in my belief that it's bullshit that Yahiko, a 10 year old, gets to fight in the battles but Kaoru, a trained and apparently talented swords woman, doesn't get to.

Finally, back into an interesting storyline again. The last few took way too long in battles. They just kept going and going... it was like a historical version of Dragonball (not a compliment), but this one makes it worth while (well, I think I'd mostly skip a couple of them). Yay!
