This isn't my usual type of read. I usually go for the action, but I try to squeeze in a romance from time to time. One thing I love about romance is the character development, which is so key to the genre. This book somehow made me love and care about all three main characters who knowingly roped themselves into a love triangle that, from the start, was destined to be a disaster.

Usually, when there's a love triangle, we get the perspective of the one person at the center, who must choose between the two others. This was unique to me in that, instead, I got the perspectives of the two who were sharing the one. All the characters were complex and fully alive, with individual motivations for entering into a three-person relationship. I somehow rooted for all of them!
