I remember how much I cried when I finished this book, staring at the walls to recover only to be reminded that “if he had been with me, Finny would still be alive.” I died, man. I died.

Autumn was whiny, the tiaras were weird, every time she said "I love you" to Jamie and asked whether he would ever leave her felt very desperate - saying she loved him but also saying she was settling for him because she'd never have Finny, but also being so obsessed with/resigned to life with Jamie to plan marriage and kids at 15
