This heartwarming little book gives an entirely new for me history of George and Martha Washington. The history of the time takes a backseat to the love story of these two people. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

What a delightful intriguing story of the Washington’s. I loved their love story & the history weaved in. I feel like I know our founding father better & his loving wife, Patsy.

A sweet tale. I found it hard to keep up with who was who as in that period, many people had the same name. However, I enjoyed learning more about the Washington’s.

A historical novel about George Washington from boyhood to retiring from Presidency. It's said to be a love story, but it's more about his life. Was very interesting, based on actual events and researched for historical accuracy.

This story is told in two time frames. Between 1997 when George is leaving office of President and 1745 onward. It is a quick read and I feel like it gave more insight to him as a man and not just the political and military side. I had hopes to get more of a love story since that is the title but I felt it lacked that.
