This first appeared in the [b:The Mammoth Book of Paranormal Romance|4916680|The Mammoth Book of Paranormal Romance|Trisha Telep|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1255656210s/4916680.jpg|4982233], and because it was so short, the author obviously didn't have the time to flesh out the characters or the plot...but she still managed to present a sweet paranormal fairy tale. Yes, it was a little silly, yes it was completely implausible. But, I still found myself enjoying the story. I have been a fan of all things Phantom of the Opera related for many years, so that definitely helped with my suspension of disbelief. I have always wanted to read something by Amanda Ashley, but have been weary for two reasons...the less than stellar reviews I have seen for some of her books, and the fact that her love stories are much more on the tame side than I usually prefer *wink*. But, this was a sweet, romantic bit of fluff that i quite enjoyed.
