I did not enjoy this book nearly as much as Miss Rumphius. The illustrations were beautiful though. Worth a look.

I thought this one would be as good as 'Anna's new coat' but this wasn't as good. I felt really separated from this story. It was interesting to see the rise of this German family into wealth.
