Wanda's traveling the world, working on herself, and solving magical mysteries. Girl's living the dream–minus the trauma, pain, and high price of magic of course...

I really enjoy this comic for its episodic structure and the amazing art. It gives a very rounded and fun introduction to the scarlet witch as a solo heroine rather than as part of a team and paints her as someone with a lot of heart.

I bought it out of the cover art, it really got me. And that's precisely what I liked the most, the drawings and the great use of colour. Nice work from DAVID Aja on the covers and the rest of the artists (all women by the way), especially Rachelle Rosenberg and Kei Zuma, in charge of my two favourite stories. Robinson's script, on the other hand, isn't too great in my opinion. Quite boring at timea

I read this whole thing while sitting on the floor of a B&N and I have no a little shame.

I really enjoyed reading this. I love Wanda so much!! Every issue just made me get more attached to her - and more worried for her, but I'm trying to keep things positive here. And I was so happy that each issue felt like a complete story! I don't really like comic miniseries because they always seem so rushed, but this series manages to take a fifth of that length and make it the perfect length every time.

I do have a concern, though. It has to do with the whole
Magneto not being Wanda's real dad
thing. I really appreciate that this series is acknowledging and exploring Wanda's Roma heritage, but just like the last volume, this included nothing about Wanda being Jewish. I'm worried that they're going to use the above spoiler as an excuse to erase that part of her identity.

On a side note, can I take the end of issue...7, I think it was, as confirmation that Wanda is
queer
? Because that would be pretty great.
