I didn't think I could love these characters any more than I already did. I was wrong. Charm and Aspen are the fucking cutest and I couldn't help but literally cheer when the kiss FINALLY happened... only to immediately be undone by SOMEONE being convinced they didn't deserve happiness. NEXT BOOK NOW PLEASE.

This reads like the shenanigans of a sapphic D&D party of two. A bit disjointed, slightly over the top, and exactly my kind of comfort read - prolonged mutual pining included.

I received an ARC from one of the authors and am voluntarily posting a review. All opinions are my own.
Errant, Volume Two is a wonderful continuation of the adventures of the quirky, wonderful Charm and Aspen. With a greater sense of the environs surrounding them, I felt it was easier to become invested in the characters as they simultaneously dealt with personal issues and swashbuckling adventures.
I love the deepening bond between Charm and Aspen, although it is complicated by their messy feelings. Aspen doesn’t want to keep dragging Charm into danger, while Charm is trying to prove her capabilities as Charm’s partner on all fronts.
This is a lot of fun, and while I wasn’t sure how I felt about the episodic style of these, I actually really like them and how they gradually build the relationship between the two. If you’re looking for a whimsical, romantic sapphic fantasy, you should check these out.

What a great continuation of the story of Aspen and Charm! I love how things are developing between them, and the new side characters were a joy to get to know (Sky was great, what a cute).

I received a free copy in an exchange for an honest review
