As usual no spoilers

I loved the idea of this story. I especially adored both MC's. These two characters are people I wish existed and whom I would love to have as friends in real life. The more I read about the two, the more I rooted for them. As a matter of fact what makes this such a good read are how the MC's behave when in each other's company. I instantly recognized the kernels of love and was thrilled to " witness" how their relationship develop and blossom.
What made this story a tough sell for me though (and cost it a star) was the behavior of the female supporting characters. Both females were women i couldnt relate to. Ive come across women of Marilyn's calibre. We women either have a "marilyn" as a friend or we know someone like her and she reads realisticaly. The character i couldn't wrap my brain around was Harriet, Nate's older sister. I hated her. Still do. The things that she did were simply put, appalling and didn't make sense to me considering her age. If she were young and dumb then her behavior and her actions would be plausible. But she wasn't and that made her character hard to swallow and unrealistic to me. Other than that sore point (and a fruitless google search for something I cannot mention since it's a major plot line of the story), this book delivered.

I enjoyed it and couldn't stop smiling when I got to the end. Do I recommend you read it? YES! Rick R. Reed is one of those rare authors that consistently delivers escapism you want to sink your teeth into.

S/N: Now I'm dying to visit Seattle and see all the interesting places mentioned in the book : )

This book is another hit for Mr. Reed, and I just can’t say enough about how much I loved it. Nate and Brandon quickly grabbed my heart strings and the last quarter of the book just made me love them more. I like how he also mentioned some of my other favorite authors in the book, and I am still looking for those BF Mann novels!

If you haven’t read a book by Mr. Reed this is a great place to start and if you, like me, are a huge fan, you won’t be disappointed.
