Overall good but it is too the plot is too complex and full of constant “Deux Ex Machina’s”

Is there a better duo for trippy Batman stories than Scott Snyder and Jock? At this point, I would say no. The Batman Who Laughs was the brightest spot in the DC Dark Metal event, so continuing his twisted tale made sense. I liked that the Bat Fam wasn't involved at all, but I am curious as to what the others were doing during the time. Love the Gordons, even James Jr. the little psycho. Alfred was a kick-butt dude which is always fun. The art is brilliant and the dialog is well written to boot. Definitely worth your time.

Read via DC Universe Infinite.

I’ve been intrigued about The Batman Who Laughs character so gave this a shot - not the best thing I’ve ever read but not the worst. Also find I’m still intrigued about the character so maybe that’s a good thing?
