If you enjoyed the FSoG or Crossfire series, you'll really enjoy this one as well. BDSM play occurs in this book but it's nothing too hardcore.
Ella is your "Miss Normal" and Darnley is a sexy millionaire with a dark past and dark sexual needs. Darnley slowly introduces Ella into his way of life while protecting her from danger.
I thoroughly enjoy books with a bourgeois alpha male that has a soft spot for the heroine, and this book is no different. Darnley seems to be a huge mystery but the more time her spends with Ella the more caring her becomes. There seem to be a lot of issues that arise for this couple both inside and outside of their relationship; just when you think one situation is resolved a new one surfaces.
While this is only the first book in the trilogy it was well written and kept you on your toes. The book ends with a few questions hanging in the air but there isn't a cliffhanger and the book wraps up really nicely. I look forward to finishing the series.

This book was cure nothing special but cute. I enjoyed it whilst I read it, however, I promptly forgot it as soon as I put it down.
