Beneath the Stands is the second book in the Sugarlake series. This book is told from dual points of view from Becca and Eli. Becca is best friends with Eli's sister, and he has been in her life for a long time. Always messing with her and bugging her while they grew up.

Now years later they end up in the same college. Something happened and Becca has to get a job. She ends up working for the same basketball team Eli is helping coach. Eli has to teach her the game of basketball. They start to fall for each other, but something tears them apart.

Now 5 years later they run into each other in their home town. They both have feelings for each other, but Eli can't forgive Becca for what happened. I loved the banter between Becca and Eli in this whole book.

Will Eli and Becca get through what broke them apart? What happens when they both find out things about their families back home. They each have their own struggles to go through. Can they be there for each other? Will they get their happy ending? I really enjoyed this book, and couldn't stop listening, because I had to see what happened next. I can't wait to see what happens next in the series.

Konusunu merak edenler bakabilir (spoiler yok) :

This book is pure perfection in every way with so much to learn from, so much angst, steaminess and a lot of raw deep emotions all rolled into one. No doubt that you will want to read anything by Emily Mcintire because her way of writing just pulls at your heart & soul!!

I LOVE THIS BOOK. Without giving too much away - you need this book in your life. I love that it is raw & packed full of passion. There is heat, angst, forbidden love & lots of life lessons. Multiple times I wanted to throw this book because of how great the writing was with making me feel all the emotion. This relationship is not a perfect no issues romance. We get heartbreak & oh my goodness the spice is unreal. If you love spice, heavily passionate romance & a lot of angst then this book is for you. I cannot recommend this book or this author enough!

Way better written than book 1! This book is an enemies to lovers, college to adults romance and the chemistry was soo good!
