It was entertaining, a different read. The stories are short and surprising and the illustrations are amazing. However, the dark tone may not be everyone's cup of tea.

Kevin the Hobo Minivan with Extremely Low Morals is my favourite. What's your favourite?

If you are a fan of Gorey's Gashlycrumb Tinies or Burton's Oyster Boy, you will love this book. It's a great little collection of black humor tales that really draw on the tradition of these previous authors but I think that Douglas Coupland does a great job of making tales that are definitely in the spirit while true to his own style. DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE NOT INCLINED TO LIKE THE OTHER STORIES LISTED ABOVE. This humor is not something that all people will enjoy or appreciate and that should be noted but I do and I loved it. If you can stomach the Gashlycrumb deaths or other morbid tales, you'll very much love this.

Bit mixed - liked some, others were just a bit crazy. Not as funny as I'd thought it would be either.

Mostly really bizarre, but there were a couple of the stories that I rather liked. A baffling, but enjoyable, little book of little stories.
