I have a soft spot for the Short Nonfiction winners here because I remember being a first reader for both "Saving Luna" and "The Great Glass Closet," the two runners-up. Other standouts are "The Unwilding" by Rebecca Nison, "The Last Afternoon" by Laurie Thomas, "Sweat" by LaToya Watkins, and "Cold War Kirby" by Joseph Earl Thomas. Basically, the fiction is strong.
