An interesting story about 2 brothers fighting on opposite sides during the revolutionary war. Mix in with the action, Schweizer teaches about the two sides of the war and the part that native Americans played in the war. I do love that underneath the history was a lesson of loyalty to family as well.

While I think this would be a great book for a younger child to read in school, this one failed the "All Ages" test for me.

I wanted to like this one so much more than I did. I really did not like the ending, and the art style felt too cartoon-y for the tone of the book.
