Everybody, Always: Becoming Love in a World Full of Setbacks and Difficult People by Bob Goff

Bob Goff. This guy is just unreal in the best of ways. Reading Love Does before this book helped me understand some of the references in this book, but it's not necessary. In some ways this book is not profound in the sense that heavy theological texts can be, and yet it is the most remarkable call to action for Christians to follow God's command to love Him by loving others - love everybody. Always. Goff depicts how he and others in his life go about trying to live this out. It's a light, funny, touching, and authentic read that will get you thinking about your own life... and how much you want to be friends with Bob.

I enjoyed this book! The stories are provocative and engaging. Bob is fun and funny and earnest.
Overall this book is NICE but not profound or nuanced (though some chapters I did find quite moving). Dont read this if you're looking for nuanced Theology. Do read this if you want stories from a rich guy trying to love people well.

I found it to be repetitive and super slow to get through for most of it. The last 5-ish chapters were really good. The whole book had some really good points and important notes.
