This was a good collection of selections from Lewis. Sometimes it was almost worth it to skip a few days and read a few days’ worth all at the same time because then you could get more of his flow of thought, but otherwise I thought the editor did a good job of picking passages to fit the theme, and keeping the passages of an appropriate length for a daily devotional.

I got this one to read as a daily break, but it's too heady for a quick read. Maybe it'll work at another time in my life.

Well, I’ve been trying to finish this book since 2018, and this year I finally did it! I have learned that there’s more of C.S. Lewis’ work that I don’t understand than those that I do. But it’s obvious he was a brilliant man, and I’m proud that I finally finished it.

Reading it as a devotion with my sister for 2013.

A good collection of C.S. Lewis's thoughts in easily digestible, daily form. It was great to have this to go through, but I would have liked the daily portions to be a little longer, and maybe including more of Lewis's works.

It was good. My problem with this book is that the editors didn't always capture Lewis' meaning. If you have read the books that are quoted you will appreciate this book more.
